FTIR-IR Microscope
An FTIR-IR microscope (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy-infrared microscope) can identify functional groups and molecular structure on the basis of individual absorbance characteristics. For example, it can analyze the IR spectrum of polymide film.
Main Application/Advantages
- This ability is useful for analyzing all organics, including organic thin film, laminate and fibre, organic contaminants and additives, and some organic powder.
- The FTIR-IR microscope allows for analysis in transmission mode and reflection mode.
