Operator

We’re looking for an operator to operate and maintain plating equipment, ensure process quality, follow safety protocols, and support production goals in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate plating machines for daily production tasks.
  • Perform wet chemical processes including Nickel, Tin, Gold plating, and wet etching.
  • Ensure correct plating materials are used and maintain bath solutions for accurate plating dimensions.
  • Use measuring equipment (e.g., X-ray thickness machine, scales, microscope, callipers) to perform quality check.
  • Inspect parts and materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Record inspection results and maintain production documentation.
  • Perform 5S housekeeping before and after each job.
  • Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE and adhere to SOPs.
  • Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on machines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary education
  • Some manufacturing experience required

Shift Type/ Work Hours:

  • Rotating shift (6/3).
  • 7.50am - 8.05pm / 7.50pm - 8.05am

QC Inspector

Conduct inspections, ensure plating quality meets standards, identify defects, maintain records, and support continuous improvement in production processes.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machines to perform daily job
  • Ensure parts are plated with the correct materials.
  • Use measuring equipment (e.g., X-ray thickness machine, scales, microscope) to perform quality check.
  • Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Record inspection results and production data.
  • Pack and label customer orders according to specifications.
  • Perform 5S housekeeping before and after each job.
  • Prioritize safety by following SOPs, wearing required PPE and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Perform repair and preventive maintenance on machinery.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary education
  • 2 years of relevant experience required

Assistant Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer to join our Plating – Barrel team. The successful candidate will support production operations, ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support environmental management activities (e.g., control of chemicals, energy, water, and waste).
  • Conduct periodic solution analysis and replenishment.
  • Establish and periodically review process parameters (PMP) and FMEA.
  • Analyze and resolve production issues to improve quality and do periodically review on safety aspects.
  • Develop and update work instructions to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Drive production capacity improvements and cost-down projects.
  • Identify and contain non-conforming products to prevent customer impact.
  • Arrange for production or shipment stoppage in case of major quality issues.
  • Report quality, environmental, water efficiency, and safety issues to internal authorities.
  • Liaise with customers regarding production issues and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Material Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
  • 1–2 years in engineering field.
  • Strong understanding of quality and environmental systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Positive work attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • 7.50am to 4.55pm (Mondays - Fridays)

Purchasing Assistant (Temp 6 months)

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant for a 6-month temporary role to support daily purchasing and inventory tasks. Responsibilities include handling purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, monitoring stock levels, and helping with cost-saving efforts. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, good negotiation skills, be organized and proactive.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:
  • Handle purchase orders, invoicing, and related documentation.
  • Source new suppliers and identify potential new products.
  • Qualify new vendors and evaluate alternative sources.
  • Ensure timely procurement to meet production and operational needs.
Supplier Management:
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and support cost control efforts.
Inventory Management:
  • Manage and control inventory of chemicals and general supplies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly procurement and inventory reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant purchasing or inventory control role.
  • Diploma or higher in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory, material, or warehouse management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
